Here are some pictures I took this afternoon after the man came to install the vent a hood. There are still lots of little things to do............like putting in the back-splash and all the quarter-round along the floors....touch up paint, hang paintings, arrange things in shelves and cabinets...

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Cheryl. I love the copper hood and the way the lights make the universal khaki turn chartreuse. I'm taking notes like crazy for my kitchen remodel. Inspiration!

Sorry, Annette, but that must have been the flash or the sun causing it to look copper. The hood is stainless steel. I did consider copper would look good in there but wanted a good mix of simple contemporary with all the old furniture and the rest. There will be a brushed aluminum (corrugated) backsplash if I can ever get the guts to just start putting it up.
